I received my Coastal Scents products the beginning of this week. It is my first purchase from Coastal Scents and so far, I am impressed!! I ordered a few products, but for this post, I will be focusing on this Large Dome Kabuki Brush. It is priced at $14.95, but I got 20% off from their holiday sale. Woohoo!
Anyway, don't be fooled by the word "Large." This brush is not large at all. I was very surprised at how small it is. It is about 2 1/2" tall and 1" in diameter. Not big at all. They also have a mini version, but since this large is small already, I probably would not suggest getting the mini. Unless you are using it strictly for corners of your nose or other smaller areas.
The bristles are a shiny black ferrule and are sooo soft! I love it! Its pointed shape helps get into the harder to reach areas on your face. It is dense and just firm enough to hold product and not "suck in" all the product.
This brush may be used to apply foundation, blush, bronzer, or powder; liquid, cream, or powder. I, personally, have only used this to apply my liquid foundation so far. It blends and buffers the foundation so smoothly and evenly; leaving a flawless application.
Overall rating: 9/10. A "must-have" brush for your collection =]
